As expected, December sales of European steel stockholding distribution were at a very low seasonal level leading to a fatal increase of stocks expressed in days of sales despite a lower stock index registered at end December 2009. Sales of EU steel stockholding distribution in 2009 decreased by 27% YoY. 1. Long steel products sales - Down by 26% YoY 2. Flat steel products sales - Down by 25% YoY 3.
