| Yusco and Tang Eng to hike stainless steel price for September - 03 Sep, 2010 | ||

Taiwan’s Yieh United Steel Corp and Tang Eng have both announced to lift export price of stainless steel for September. Yusco’s domestic prices for 304 and 430 grades remain unchanged and for 316L extra cost to lift by TWD 2,000 per tonne. Meanwhile, Yusco’s export price for 300 series stainless steel has increased by USD 60 to USD 80 per tonne and for 400 series has increased by USD 30 to USD 50 per tonne. Tang Eng’s domestic price for 300 series stainless steel remains unchanged and lifts price by USD 140 per tonne for stainless steel exports. The price level is expected to close between these two mills. Also, new price level could approach to spot market. The demand does not show positive direction yet.
