American steel mills like Severstal North America, US Steel, ArcelorMittal and Nucor Corporation announced to lift the price for cold rolled sheet again recently. The major US steel mills have decided to lift the price for cold rolled sheet by USD 40 per short tonne. In addition, AK Steel announced to lift the surcharge for electrical Steel which will be delivered in October by USD 350 per short tonne, keeping the same level with September 2010.
